★ (10) 방어하는 방패 (I am thy shield,)

 

[Genesis 15:1, KJV] After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I [am] thy shield, [and] thy exceeding great reward. 

 

[창 15:1] 이 일들 뒤에 {주}의 말씀이 환상 속에서 아브람에게 임하여 이르시되, 아브람아, 두려워하지 말라. 나는 네 방패요, 네가 받을 지극히 큰 보상이니라, 하시니

 

 

[Proverbs 30:5, KJV] Every word of God [is] pure: he [is] a shield unto them that put their trust in him.  

 

[잠 30:5] [하나님]의 모든 말씀은 순수하며 그분은 자신을 신뢰하는 자들에게 방패가 되시느니라.

 

 

[Psalm 18:2, KJV] The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, [and] my high tower.  

 

[시 18:2] {주}는 나의 반석이시요, 나의 요새시요, 나의 구출자시요, 나의 [하나님]이시요, 내가 신뢰할 나의 힘이시요, 나의 방패시요, 나의 구원의 뿔이시요, 나의 높은 망대시로다.

 

 

★ (11) 미래 약속의 근거 (the promise)

 

[Genesis 15:4, KJV] And, behold, the word of the LORD [came] unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. 

 

[창 15:4] 보라, {주}의 말씀이 그에게 임하여 이르시되, 이 사람은 네 상속자가 아니요, 오직 네 배 속에서 나올 자가 네 상속자가 되리라, 하시더라.

 

 

[Hebrews 6:15, KJV] And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. 

 

[히 6:15] 그가 이같이 끈기 있게 견딘 뒤에 그 약속하신 것을 얻었느니라.

 

 

[Psalm 105:42, KJV] For he remembered his holy promise, [and] Abraham his servant.

 

[시 105:42] 이는 그분께서 자신의 거룩한 약속과 자신의 종 아브라함을 기억하셨기 때문이로다.
